Apologies if this is already been answered, but my CPU speed within Windows Vista is showing incorrectly. It should read 3.5Ghz but it is only saying 2.67Ghz. I have checked the BIOS numerous times and it shows the CPU at 3.5Ghz. Windows XP was correct but now I have upgraded to Vista the speed has dropped. CPU-Z reports that the multiplier is running at only x6 but the BIOS says it is x8. I am very confused by this. Is this a general problem with Vista or is there something I can change? Spec is in profile. Thanks guys
