increase 32bit program's RAM limit

does anyone know of a simple way of increasing a 32bit program's RAM limit, specifically STALKER: call of Pripyat 'complete' to more than 2GB?

ive had a look and there is an incredibly complicated way which involves replacing some files and modifying some boot files, but i would not be happy to do this. is there a simple way of increasing the RAM limit to, say 3GB?

if it helps, im using Win7pro 64 bit, i'm usng the steam version od stalker: CoP with the complete mod on its highest graphics install setting

Large Address Aware may help. Its very simple to use.

thanks, that looks like it could be just what im after. it even has stalker in the list of games that will benefit.

worked like a charm, but it wasnt the cause of the stuttering. guess its just because i was cheap and got the 768MB graphics card

Download GPU-Z and use it to see if its maxing out your vram.

Also what res are you playing at?

MSI afterburner says it is maxing out the VRAM

(well, its usually above 755MB VRAM usage)

i'm playing at 1360x768
