Are there any tips, tricks or ways of inceasing the efficiency or bandwidth or simply reducing the transferred bitrate when streaming media over wireless network? Having set my new network up im pleased with how its working so far, but on the eeepc which i tend to have in the bedroom, the signal isn't full strength unfurtunately, and it seems that the reduced bandwidth makes film and flac audio stutter a bit. I realise that using 802.11g isn't going to give me huge bandwidth, and I don't want to spend any more money at the moment, but are there any secrets to efficient media streaming over networks? I want to have all my films and music stored centrally on the server, accessible by all the computers around the house. :)
