independence day partys

A local night club is having an independence day party, but arn't we celebrating a war we lost?? What next the polish thanking Hitler for concentration camps!!!!!!!

He did make them, yes i am fully aware we used them first in the boer war, but not to the same extent. I was trying to make a point which is valid if he invented them or not

So i take it the Canada day celebrations the other day in Trafalgar Square drives you mad as well??...simple fact is that its free country so let them celebrate their national days if they so choose to.
