Managed to catch the race live, before the train. Reasonably interesting.
Can't believe massa got penalty. Stupid stewards, have they ever heard of racing inciedent and not every collision should be punished, in fact it should be a rarity.
I would love for them to do something "outrageous" for a season. Scrapping qualifying and making your starting place depending on your championship position for example, leader at back working forwards.
Thats just one crazy example, but they really need to make the sport more interesting. Not only are the races dire, but qualifying is a non issue anymore. Some of the teams dont even set times, and they always seem to hold back to save tyre sets.
Throwing them all in the same car would generate good racing - but when a Ferrari isn't really a Ferrari, it would kinda suck.
Yeah great input there.
I'm not on my own island in the belief that F1 is becoming unattractive.
Hamilton on the other hand, is having collisions, every other race. Note: it is not his race/quali pace which is bad, just the high collision rate.
For the record, in all my time watching F1, I have never seen a front running driver have so many collisions.
If McLaren deliver another poor car at the start of the year I would expect Lewis to announce he is on the driver market quite soon after.
it is strange how he can race wheel to wheel with everyone else apart from massa, hes had great racing with jenson a few times and with webber not so long ago. its just with massa it ends in contact every time. is it massa or is it hamilton.
There is no rule about which compounds of tyre should be used, or if there should be a 1 compound gap in them. Pirelli just stated that they would try and do that wherever possible to spice up the racing.
And then there's people like me, piggy-in-the-middle, hoping that he finds some proper form next year to placate both sides of what has become a particularly dull argument....
