Pretty good race but so dusty it must have been hard off line. Steady race for Vet and Button, had to agree with penalty for Massa as he benefited from turning in on Lewis, who had to pit. The commentators seemed to miss that I think.

Managed to catch the race live, before the train. Reasonably interesting.
Can't believe massa got penalty. Stupid stewards, have they ever heard of racing inciedent and not every collision should be punished, in fact it should be a rarity.

So you think its okay for Massa to turn in and damage Hamiltons wing without taking a hit himself? If both didn't take damage then it would have been unfair.

I would love for them to do something "outrageous" for a season. Scrapping qualifying and making your starting place depending on your championship position for example, leader at back working forwards.

Thats just one crazy example, but they really need to make the sport more interesting. Not only are the races dire, but qualifying is a non issue anymore. Some of the teams dont even set times, and they always seem to hold back to save tyre sets.

Throwing them all in the same car would generate good racing - but when a Ferrari isn't really a Ferrari, it would kinda suck.

Go watch GP2 or something :/

Yeah great input there.

I'm not on my own island in the belief that F1 is becoming unattractive.

The BBC say they have more and more viewers watching? F1 has always been about the technical and team side more than hundreds of overtakes per lap, which we have seen far more of this year and last year. Yet people still complain?

Hamilton on the other hand, is having collisions, every other race. Note: it is not his race/quali pace which is bad, just the high collision rate.

I'd normally agree but he was actually slow yesterday as well.

For the record, in all my time watching F1, I have never seen a front running driver have so many collisions.

Montoya?

it is strange how he can race wheel to wheel with everyone else apart from massa, hes had great racing with jenson a few times and with webber not so long ago. its just with massa it ends in contact every time. is it massa or is it hamilton.

I think Massa just doesn't know how to race and yield when clearly being overtaken.

There is no rule about which compounds of tyre should be used, or if there should be a 1 compound gap in them. Pirelli just stated that they would try and do that wherever possible to spice up the racing.

Yep, they can bring whichever two compounds they want to.
