Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (2024)

There will be others in the future.

As time progresses CPU requirements creep up.

I mean, that's just stating the obvious.

My point was more that the requirements they put out should be taken with a pinch of salt and you'd be better off using actual benchmarks.

I'd wager there was something else going on with your Space Marine 2 problems, as I've never seen GPU usage drop that low. When you upgraded that meant a new mobo, new ram, fresh install etc?

Even without pt, still fantastic looking but PT just makes the whole world feel and look more grounded with depth, onto Asia opening and it just simply looks natural the scenery.

Just done the Himalaya mission and that has to be one of the best cinematic moments in my gaming time

Just starting playing this on the 5090 at 4k, can someone recommend some good settings? Noticed the cut scenes are a bit choppy using supreme settings DLSS quality @ frame gen 2x.

Cut scenes are capped to 60 FPS.

Use this:

FG still busted for me, when it was working perfectly earlier on before game/driver updates.

Will wait and see if further updates fix it, got plenty of other stuff to play.

I started playing this not too long ago and I've got to say I'm enjoying it very much. I've completed the first level and I'm just moving on to Giza after collecting everything from the Vatican City.

Definitely game of the year in 2024 for me.

I hate to say this, but I'm old enough to have enjoyed growing up with the Indiana Jones films through my youth and so playing this game seemed like something I could really enjoy, and it certainly looks pretty enough on top end hardware. Indy's character looks and sounds excellent and so does some of the settings.

But I've stopped playing, because it's just plain boring. :( The gameplay is really terrible, it's like it was designed for a toddler.

I've got to the area (sorry I was so bored I didn't even pay attention) where your navigating by boat through a jungle setting. And I've given up after spending too much patience with the whole travesty, and the constant cut scenes.

Initially the game started off well, if not a bit slow, and a bit fetch n carry, back n forth, and Indy is certainly no Lara croft... More like old man when it comes to traversing the environment.

The location settings and atmosphere are lovely, yes the combat is basic and clunky (but fun using different objects to hit people with), guns are pointless as they result in a death sentence from the npc's. And the stealth is a joke.

And then you meet the female side kick, and my word is goes down hill fast:.......

Indiana Jones and the nagging house wife.

Indiana Jones and the constant cut scenes.

Indiana Jones and the glitching side kick that stops progress.

Indiana Jones and the puzzles for baby.

Indiana Jones and the wife that doesn't like you exploring.... Over here Indy, it's this door Dr Jones, it's this, it's this....... etc etc.

Aaargh!

Reviews say this has a great story.... Personally I can't see this for the lack of gameplay.

Shame.

3/10

Good game! You need a powerful GPU like my new RX 9070 but it looks & sounds lovely.

Gameplay is not too bad either...helps if your an Indy fan for sure but the first level alone (The Vatican) is absolutely massive and full of secrets & fantastic graphics!
