Indicators not working one side?

My dad has a Kia Sorento and he has lost indicators on one side, what could the problem be? If a bulb had gone it wouldn't take the other two out would it?
 
Does the tick tock sound still come from the dash area? If not then possibly a relay or a switch in the indicator stalk itself.
 
Flashes on dashboard once then stops, any ideas where the indicators relays are on a Sorrento?
 
Afraid I can't help you with anything specific. How old is it - don't Kia offer a ridiculously long warranty on their vehicles?
