Our induction hob is now 9 years old and I have noticed on a number of occasions that the touch controls don't work to the touch - We have to wipe controls with a cloth and also our fingers - Can anyone tell me if this happens on modern Induction hobs ? do you need bone dry fingers for them to work - Second question is bridge links to two sections to create a larger cooking area - One thing we have found is when using large pans sometimes a pan next to it isn't fully on the ring. Other than scratches and touch controls the Siemens has been fine.
One I am looking at is AEG HK654400FB - Our present one is Siemens - both 600mm square give or take - I need direct replacement as no room to go wider.
