My bad, I didn't see his stop. That is a tough choice given the wet/dry state of the track.

Yeah. Marco has a grand total of two wins in all these years at his father's team. Consistently poor on road\street courses with a few exceptions.

Dario spun in the first corner on the restart :/

Edit: Simona de Silvestro has a damaged car from contact with Franchitti, since she's already last she'll likely pit for a replacement nosecone\wing.

Impressive start by Takuma Sato to take the lead. De Silvestro penalised with a drive-through for contact with Franchitti. Oriol Servia going backwards.

Edit: Hunter-Reay on a mission, multiple passes this lap. Bourdais very close to crashing and Barrichello gets through.

Sato has an 8 second lead after just 3 laps from the restart.

Bourdais just lost 4 places in one corner. :eek:

Edit2: Rahal has caught back up to Sato, who is fuel-saving. Jakes in the wall, looks like another caution.

Sebastien Bourdais is out of the race with a mechanical problem.

Rahal has pitted, the order is Sato, Hunter-Reay, Hildebrand for the restart.

Edit: Pagenaud takes the lead. James Hinchcliffe stopped on the track, back to full course yellow. Seems he hit the wall\Conway and damaged his car.

Simona de Silvestro this time. Hit the wall at the chicane by kerb-jumping, like Carpenter.

Green flag, Pagenaud leads from Hunter-Reay and Kimball. Everybody seems to have survived the restart :p

Edit: Hildebrand damaged his wing on the back of Sato's car.

Sato pitted now so that promotes RB to 5th (along with Rahal's drive-through for passing under yellow).

Edit: Simon Pagenaud looking good, emerges from the pits ahead of Kimball. Sato looks to be in trouble, he's in the pits unscheduled.

Kanaan slowing also, seems he met the wall earlier in the lap. Hunter-Reay has track position over Pagenaud after the stops.

Edit2: Sato out of the race, looks to be an engine issue.

Power vs Franchitti was the story of 2011, and they meet on the track again to decide the championship...

Edit: and Will Power goes through to take 5th place. Heh, they're interviewing his wife now.

Kimball stopped on the track, he's dropped oil so it'll be a full course caution.

Edit2: Restart wasn't clean, track's been blocked by Conway hitting the tyres and Wilson hitting his stricken car.
