my advice is go for what you fell is quicker, there both pigs to upgrade as there on older sockets, 754 being the easier but it has poor ram so kinda balances out

i think personally i would go for the a64, because pretty much the only intensive thing i do is gaming, and it is what the a64 is good at

maybe sell the p4 system to fund a decent upgrade? (7900gt ;))
