Infin8 toxicity - Continued failure under RMA

Frankly I can't believe a word they are saying about deep cleans and full tear downs. In my eyes it's just been drained, pump cleaned, put back together and filled again.

To their credit the two new rads and pumps are correct, however if the blocks are full of gunk, or the tubings degraded, or the fittings have corroded, I don't know

What I don't get is why; it's fresh fluid and it's apparently been cleaned by 'professionals' several times. I am absolutely blown away that there was still debris in the system. All of us run our loops for yonks, no issues; where is all this 'debris' coming from?

I'd wager most of us don't run filters either.

Glad they changed the tubing, as I mentioned in an earlier post, this should have been done the first time; I change tubes every maintenance drain.

Either the flushing is poor and it's that sponge stuff, it's debris from the rads as they've not been blitzed properly, it's plasticiser leached from crappy tubing, or it's biological.

Completely agree.

Debris left over from the sponge insert/filter should have been completely removed with the first RMA.

As this is the 3rd RMA i would have expected a brand new loop to be installed ( + thoroughly cleaning the original blocks which is easily done and can be inspected visually ), just to lessen the embarassment of having to rma an inhouse build 3 times.

An inline filter - WHY ? Are they expecting more 'debris' to magically appear ? And if it does, and clogs up the filter - RMA number 4

In 15+ years of watercooling ' debris ' has never been an issue for me, you flush the rads before fitting and thats it.

I agree bud, something doesn't seem to add up to me, apart from the fact that they are attempting to do everything as cheaply as possible. Note that when they mentioned tubing replacement, they said 'some'.

Bets are open as to how long it takes before it fails again?

Jesus Christ's they didn't even replace all the tubing?

Previously, if I had to get a pre-built, I'd have gone OCUK. But after reading this, I most definitely would not.

Three RMAs for a loop is extremely embarrassing.
The third time it came in they should have done the right thing; tear the whole lot down, and start from scratch.

I'm starting to think they've never really cleaned it out, just drained, refilled and replaced the rads.

Whatever it is, something isn't right.
