Infiniti must be really struggling..

We have a QX60 and it's pretty nice. I tried speccing up a similar sized German car and couldn't get anything close to the spec for the price.

Oh really? I've been thinking of taking one for a test drive. I've been looking at the Q50 Red Sport. I've heard a few people saying negative things about them. Maybe I'll avoid it.

Try a Cadillac ATS instead. I'm really impressed with them - but make it the 3.6 not the 2.0T.

IMHO other than the infotainment system and gearbox (Both of which are excellent on the 3 Series) it's actually a better car than the 3 Series, let alone the Q50.

Just put 4000 miles on a 2016 ATS4 around Canada. Great thing.

I agree with this 100% - just make sure you get a good deal. I got over $20k off the MSRP when I bought my ATS last year.

Interesting. Hadn't even thought about those.

I'm going to have a better look into 3/5 series. E60 M5s are getting affordable, just the running costs that are going to make that one tricky. I work from home so I'll be putting hardly any miles on it, I just want something fun that I can get a child seat in the back of.

Dealers leave a lot to be desired too I find.
Avoid.

Their sales team were out to rip us off, well, more the management than the actual sales person dealing with us.

Their service department is pretty good though. We just drive up and get it serviced every few thousand miles, no appointment or anything. Then when it needs to stay there they give out some pretty good loaners (our last one was an $80k SUV).

They are advertised at low 20s but I'd be amazed if they actually sell. Why would anyone buy a 5 year old one for low 20s?

I'm inclined to agree with Fox - I took a quick look on autotrader yesterday and was shocked to see FX's for sale that I had previously seen for sale in July 2014...like literally the same ones with the same pictures and identical adverts
