Since installing the Corsair H100i GT last week there is an annoying rattle or rapid ticking noise coming from what I think is one of the fans. When I open the top of the case and apply a bit of downward pressure to the radiator with my hand it stops. I manually stopped both fans and it seems to be from the fan nearest to the end of the radiator with the two cables/tubing. This fan is the standard 140 corsair fan that came with it. The other fan is an LED I fitted in place of the standard. Is there a known problem with the standard fans?
I read somewhere about the pumps on the H100i producing a ticking noicse but the noise is definitely coming from the area where the corsair fan is fitted so unless the pump is inside the radiator it can't be that? I'm assuming the pump is in the CPU blockhead, is that right? I haven't lifted the computer down to tighten the screws again as I've hurt my back but I know I screwed them down pretty tight anyway. Thoughts anyone?
