Initital internet page does not load

I mentioned above I have already tried an ethernet cable, the problem still occured although it was a lot less frequent. I'll set the idle time to 99 (max limit) and see how I get on. Cheers guys

ok update:

since changing the idle time to 99 the problem has become a lot more frequent. I've noticed that when i switch on my pc after not using it for a while (a few hours of so), the internet light on the router is off and only lights up after I refresh the initial home page. All other router lights are on.
