Injustice 2 On its way to PC

Picked this up the other day for £5! Ultimate edition to boot. Loving it so far.
I do have one issue and hoping someone may have a solution. When I launch the game the little logo box appears then screen goes black and I can hear some sound. It then goes back to desktop with no icon to suggest it's running. I then have to minimise steam to get the icon to appear and then tab back to game. Verified files and all OK.
Just had a thought about trying to launch from big picture. Hmmmm
 
The game was a bit unstable for me too, would sometimes crash during the cut scenes. Really fun game though. I love Harley Quinn in it - they totally nailed her character!
