Inkjets that print directly on cd/dvd's

Hi all,

These seemed to be the rage a couple of years back, but i can't seem to find any now, most seem to have been discontinued.

We want one for work so we can print directly onto disks with printable covers already on them. Easier than putting in label paper and have users goof it up with positioning etc.

Can anyone recommend one, and and does anyone know why they're no longer commonly available?

Hi, the Canon iP4950 prints on CD/DVD about £60, l have the Canon iP4300 its 3 years old still prints like new and gets well used. Its very easy to print on disc and you can use compatible cartridges about £20 for 5x5 ink cartridges Black x2/ Colour x3.

Oooh thanks for that. Oddly enough the place i'm about to order some other printers from actually have that in stock too for £55.
