Inno3D 8800GT Failures

"MINE HAS!!" LOL

Was running artifact scan and screen went blank (no signal) after a few minutes, could not get the pc to start ever since, my mobo kept giving me the "no GFX found" beeps.

Have sent it back to the e-tailer last week and I'm still waiting to hear from them.

Did you overclock it?

Mines fine apart from cold boot( probs more to do with mobo) have to swtich it off then on and its ok, no overclocking mind my end on the card.

Of my 3 inno3d cards Iv had, one died in 11months, next in 3months and the other survived while I had it! Dont touch the company anymore mind :)

Arnt these the brand that were showing up cheap very early in the launch of these cards?
If so then there will be loads of fun in the coming months as theya re sure to have sold well

Yeah was running artifact scan at 670/1675/2000 so it's not like I've gone crazy with the oc.

*EDIT* I have the fan at 100% at the time of running artifact scan and the temp wasn't exceeding 75C the last time I looked so it couldn't have been the temp.

My mobo has done similar thing before of not recognising GFX which was cured by swapping GFX cards around. But this time it just won't see the 8800GT no matter what. I am almost certain it's the card because lots of people here have 8800GT working perfectly on P5N-E SLI.

Why start a thread like this and get people worried?

if it fails then RMA it, only power supplys should really have threads like this. my inno3d is fine.

No need to bring worries up.

Well its now known that 2000 on the memory can cause these cards to fail. That may have been your problem.

eh?

Anyway mine has been running at 700/2000 since I had got the card & no problems. Although strangely my 3dmark has dropped nearly 1000 points since my first run
