Thank you for purchasing our 3080 TWIN x2 OC.

This is the statement we made yesterday on our Facebook page for the iCHILL X3and X4 GPU.

The 3080 TWIN X2 OC is not yet on the market, we expect the first shipments in October.

I wonder how many of these have been ordered by OcUK, as I only placed my order yesterday I don't imagine I'll have one of the cards in the first shipment at the end of October!

I was looking at this card too as it is the only one besides the FE that looks like it will fit on my case but I haven't been able to find the length of it to be sure or any reviews about it. It is too much of a mystery for me to order it blindly.

EDIT:
This website here says that it is 274cm long, but not sure what they base that on:
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/inno3d-rtx-3080-twin-x2-oc.b7926

If this is true is the shortest 3080 by far.

It is also interesting that seems to be using a 2x 8-pin connector instead of the 1x 12-pin connector that was believed to be used at the beginning.

It is 274mm as per this document on Inno3d's own website :) http://www.inno3d.com/images/products/spec_sheet/products_id_557.pdf

Unfortunately hitting MSRP has proven tough, the MSRP's were set when the pound was 1.33-1.34 this can easily be confirmed by checking charts, and stock has been arriving at OcUK purchased at rates of 1.27-1.29 as such MSRP's are a real struggle. Brands are working with us to allow us to hit MSRP, but unless the pound recovers back to 1.33-1.34 levels then the prices will go up by approximately £30-£40 a card, so do be warned, pre-ordering will save you money but the window of opportunity to do so shall be slim, potentially minutes at 14:00

Some nonsense about the exchange rate, but more than likely not ;)

You're correct, it was 650 to start with. It went to around 670 if i remember correctly, for a few days. Then settled at 700.
Exchange rate excuse is nonsense, at least for the jump from 670-700. It's not like they had stock of these cards at the lower rate anyway. They're making more money because people will pay it.
Still it's the cheapest 3080 you will get, and sounds like it will suit your needs.

Regarding the power cable. The 12-pin is only on the founders cards from nvidia. All others have 2 or 3 8-pins like you're used to.

Inno3D put out a statement about the capacitor stuff. They declared there are absolutely no stability issues with their cards. Possibly a marketing ploy, to squash any worry. But better than the manufacturers who haven't commented.

They've pretty much all commented at this point
