input lag - LCD faster than CRT?? I do something wrong? Iiyama PL- E2201W-B1
LOL just hooked up my new monitor - Iiyama PLE2201W-B1 22" side by side to my old CRT to compare the input lag:-
system:-
amd dual core 2.4
7600GT
MX510 logitech mouse
i downloaded a stopwatch program set up the monitors for 2 tests - a clone and a dual view under the nvidia options.
I then used my Fuji F30 with an awesome shutter speed and took a snap shot or two as the stopwatch program ran on both monitors. COnsistently the CRT monitor was 1-4ms slower at displaying the image than the above LCD....
~Is this right or have i done something wrong??
according to this review :- http://www.behardware.com/articles/689-2/22-inch-lcd-monitors-the-3rd-wave.html - my monitor doesnt suffer from input lag but hey - to be faster than my CRT?
cheers for your help in advance.
PS. i know the above method is not 100% guarantee to show lag but atleast i would have thought they would be on par ^^
