Alright guys,

I own a Dell 2408 monitor which works brilliantly
The only slight problem i have is the input lag
When buying it i didn't think it would make a massive difference
and it doesn't but it's still noticeable
Is there any way around this?
it's running through HDMI straight to my xbox on component.
I've even bought a wired controller to shred some response time off it.
Any ideas?

what you expect? theres no need to be nasty.
hes right though isnt he.. you have imput lag, its the only way your not going to get it anymore is by buying a better monitor..

somehow i dont think your going to get very far in this forum if you going to have an attitude about you...

Your confusing better monitor with different monitor.

You find me a better monitor than the dell 2408 for the money.
If i wanted to use my monitor purely for gaming i would have gone and bought a TN based panel.

So know he isn't right in the slightest.

The same way that latentcy occurs.
When i press a button/move the joystick you can tell that there is delay between the time a button is pressed and then for it to react on the monitor.

Won't preset modes or firmware updates help at all?

Get a worse monitor (cheap tn) with low input lag? You can't lower the input lag on your current monitor.

Seriously edit out the swear word or you will get banned sooner or later, read the faq.

Help is defined as contributing to the furtherance. Quite obviously i want to resolve the issue without spending anymore money, and with the product i already have. He's hardly helping me when i specified that i didn't want to spend anymore money. I'm guessing there isn't a solution to my problem, so thankyou to those of you who explained why i couldn't resolve it.
