what is considered good input lag now?
not sure why but i looked in to this and found out my monitor came with 2 different IPS panels, one 31ms and the other 4ms
just tested it and this one is a 31ms one
from what i can read that is still fine but it's a big difference between 31 and 4!

Depends what your useage is - for casual gaming and desktop stuff 31ms is fine, if your a hardcore FPS player maybe not so.

31ms will be horrific.

You'll get so much ghosting Derek acorah will want to come film a documentary in your bedroom

hmm, how much for a 24 or 27inch with low input lag and doesn't look pants...

monitor I have is an HP LP2475 - +5yrs old

I have one of these as a secondary monitor(used to be primary before I went to a 144hz monitor, and they're the absolute dogs ********, great colours, exceptional response times, great warranty, small bezel and a matte screen.

I'm always one to say when it comes to monitors it's pointless scrimping, it's the only component you see and use 100% of the time, so investing in something that's nice is well worth it.

31ms input lag would not give you ghosting.... you are confusing pixel response time with input lag.
