INQ -DX10.1 not compatible with current DX10 hardware

It's either fully DX10.1 compatible or it's not compatible at all and 2900XT is not fully compatible so basically neither G80 nor R600 are DX10.1 compatible.
 
i dont think anyone bought the ati 2900s or nvidia 8800s for dx10, seeing as how by the time dx10 is properly out the 3900s/9800s will be out :confused: sucks for the people who spent a lot on the cards but they are still extremely good for dx9.
 
Well, it's cost me £420 to try and upgrade to DX10 andI still have nothing to show for it (I hate fleabay scammers witha passion).

So I think I'll wait until the refreshs.
 
I dont think this dx10.1 is even a problem. They say that it has no visual effects so who cares??????? the game will just run at dx10 for your cards to play. Also buy the time this even hit the streets these cards would be old so it doesnt matter.
