Pixar are synomous with brilliance. Until imo this film.
This animation just had no substance for me, it had a few laugh out loud moments, but aside from that it just had no feeling to it. No pixar magic.

Anyone else seen it?

From the reviews that I've seen, it's the best thing since UP!

The best thing about it is that it has feelings, the movie is about the feelings of a girl's struggles of growing up, moving to a new city, no friends, in her teens.

Better than Cars 2, Monsters University 2 for sure.

Pixar used to be untouchable for me and then they brought our Up (bizarrely sad for a childen's film and oddly boring), Cars 2 (how did they make it worse than the awful Cars?) and Monsters University (even my 9 year old got bored watching it). Please, please, please don't screw up The Incredibles 2.

It doesn't have any feeling for me anyway. Most pixar animations i have found to be very mature for childrens films, so that everyone can enjoy them. That ability to envoke an emotional response for the characters and the jokes for the adults makes them great. This one had a sickly undertone of adhd childish rubbish. I disliked JOY immensely, and wanted to turn it off in the first 30 minutes. I persisted and it didn't get any better.

IMDB is a joke, they sell their reviews to big movie companies. This has got an 8.8 and the main review is saying it's great, but the overall forum boards are flabergasted at it's high score and agree that it's poor.
