can't you distinguish if it is a clutch by sensing loss of power transfer/responsivenes at higher speeds when you aren't soliciting turbo

His words were the clutch is definitely slipping. Tested it, got in and pressume he tried to pull off in a higher gear , but this is when he told me it was knackered basically .

Mine get to around 3000rpm in 3rd gear, and the needle flicks up but no power. It does coincide with when the turbo is about to kick in and happens when I put my foot to the floor in all the higher gears.
I've also had it on the machine reader and no error codes for turbo ?

Replaced the glow plug and all was fine
