My 1.2 clio biarritz.

Was pretty reliable until in october it decided to throw a spark plug out of the engine, and with it ripping the thread for it out of the head.

So instead of fixing i decided it would be a good time to upgrade and got this;

'97 MX5 1.8i

Great fun to drive, and feels a lot quicker than the clio for obvious reasons :p

Handles really well and hasn't been too hopeless in the snow recently

Then went to the 'Ring in this, owned it for the summer:

Then bought this, but didn't like it. Sold it to my neighbour.

Sold it, then the ZS broke. Typical! So I bought this to run while I do a 'proper job' and replace most wearing parts.

It's been good though - hardly a penny spent (thermostat replaced for £5) and it's done 10,000 miles in my care. Zero depreciation and now a leather driver's seat, which was free. Awesome. :p

Then while I was trying to fix it I had a breif fling with one of these:

(Thanks Google for the picture)

Then I got bored and bought this:

I do indeed, but to be honest I only got my first as it was cheap, and did the job. I tried other cars, but nothing really compared to the Ti (I first owned that in 2009, sold it, then bought it back).

Eventually the costs became too much, so went back to the ZS. They're not a bad motor, 50mpg and this one is about 155bhp, a fair step up from the standard 99bhp it came with.
Being a diesel based on a design from the 90s it's a little bit of a dig-dig-dig agricultural affair, but the rest of the car makes up for it.

Finally, the shed which I drive now was cheap, and came with MoT, and I found it by chance. It's paid off though :)

Edit: It's 1/5 leather actually! :D
Looks quite amusing, I shall get a picture haha.

After crashing the light blue Xsara VTS at the end of 2009, I had it damaged on my drive wondering what to do with it when another gold one came up.

I sold the blue one in parts and got all my money back for it so not a massive problem, but then the gold one developed a serious electrical fault so after borrowing my mums car for a short while I bought an MR2.

The Gold VTS was sold to my mate cheap as a non runner with no MOT or tax and needing new tyres for £500. He got a bargain and I got the useless ornament off my drive.

No pic but the MR2 has been safely tucked away in the garage for the winter and I'm pottering about in a 406 2.0 8v Turbo.

Future plans are sell the MR2, sell the 406 when it runs out of MOT for spares on ebay. Get myself my first house within cycling distance from work and get myself a car I really want to own without worrying about boring stuff like reliability and mpg :)

2010 started with the s60r which didnt last long. Great car and would have another but not as a daily driver:

It moved swifty on to the 530d, which was a great car and is a work mates now:

The 530d went to make way for the A8 v8 Tdi... a great car but one ill have again when im older. Lots of tech and gimmicks, great engine and cheap to run:

And finally, the A8 went to make way for the 335i SE which has been good so far. Not had a chance to really try it, but the torque is impressive and pulls well from just over 1000rpm:

So thats my expensive year of cars. Hopefully ill settle on the 335i for a year or so.

An A8 cheap to run? By that I'm guessing you mean fuel economly because I very much doubt a flagship Audi is cheap to run!

Started 2010 with 1.8t golf mk2.

After getting board of the complete lack of any refinement I fancied something newer. So as a stop gap I got a 306. After the 306 I got the blue merc in the background of this very picture.

After the merc rear suspension pooped itself I decided I fancied something quicker anyway. Roll on the 850 T5. (sorry for awful picture, only one I've got of it a clean. For sale on pistonheads if anyone is interested ;-))

However the credit card and overdraft need clearing so I've got some shed of a 306 while I save up and sort my finances out. :( Don't have a picture, and even if I did I wouldn't publish it because it's such a nail!
