Instagram.

I really like IG. I'd happily remove Facebook from my life but I need it to run a business page. IG let's me follow what I like and ignore all the **** my "friends" moan about on FB. It may be a little self obsessed (isn't all social media?), but I think it's the least hassle, as in no abuse or arguments in comments etc

I can't wrap my head around twitter or snapchat though!

At my daughter's school no-one uses Facebook. They all use Instagram. It's interesting to see that Facebook will be declining because of it (although didn't Facebook buy Instagram?)

I don't get this follow-back-or-I-unfollow-you rubbish. I have about 1,300 followers but I only follow 100 or so people - that's because I want to see actual content on my feed and not have to scroll through thousands of people I don't care about just for false popularity's sake.
 
I just don't get following at all. I don't follow people and they don't follow me. The only social media I use are LinkedIn (obviously useful for business) and subscription to a few YouTube channels as I find their content interesting.
 
I use it mainly to post inane gym and motorbike pictures, and for following people who post similar. It's all very exciting.

Used to use it to stalk FF but he doesn't post enough gratuitous glute shots these days.

Like others have said it's nice because it's generally just there to enjoy some nice images and less about everyone being an armchair politician/army commander/whatever is the hot topic for likes at the time like FB.
