Hi All,

Am currently waiting to receive my new components, DS4, 6600, 8800 GTS and 2GB Mem.

Question I have is as I'm moving from the spec in my sig to this kit what would you do to do the install, eg removal of drivers etc.

Normally I'd do the sensible thing and reformat, and start afresh, but due to the fact that the wife gave birth to our second daughter yesterday I've not got a lot of time on my hands. :D so am unable to start afresh.

Any advice to help out a very tired father.

You will have to reinstall windows or you will run into problems.

Don't see what the big deal is here?

You have time to install components but no time to install windows?

By the time you faff having to uninstall current drivers etc....

windows could be on.

Just install programs as and when you need them.

If windows is not on a seperate partition other than your DATA well what can I say.

I thought that might be the advice, was just hoping to short circuit a bit to get the machine up and running again. But have had probs in the passed just swapping over the hardware without a full re-install.
