Hi All,

Im going to install Windows 7 64 bit hopefully over the w/end.

Couple of quick questions, I will op for a fresh install will this automatically format my C drive (not worried about losing what is currently on there) or will it just overwrite the existing Vista installation.

During the install does it detect existing hardware & give you the option to d/load latest drivers, or do you do that after the installation.

It'll give you the option to upgrade or to fresh install, choose the latter, most of the hardware it'll find, that which it doesn't download or predownload and burn to CD drivers for it, and install after you have completely windows installation.

Disconnect all other drives bar the main drive and the dvd drive for the purposes of installtion and you'll avoid any funky MBR issues some other folks have got.
