Install XP from USB Memory Stick

Hi Guys

Is this the best guide to use to install XP from a USB Memory stick?

Any other suggestions?

Perfect.

My dad's PC has two CD/DVD Drives, and one of them is not in good health. Booting off CD is a pain, although, booting from USB Stick is instant!

I have an external usb cd drive just for times like this. Works a treat!!

I put Windows on a DVD, seemed to speed it up significantly. Install finished in 15 minutes on an average spec pc with WD SATA hard drive.

Its probably the same cost as an external drive, but if you have spare internal drives lying around, something like these are really handy to have for multi purposes.

I use these where I do voluntary work, they're slightly tempremental, but very good when they work.

Got 3 4GB SanDisk Flash Drives laying about so

Has anyone managed it with Windows XP x64? I've tried it and it hang just before the partitioning options...
