ok ive just wiped my new pc after i got the fixed ram back to do a fresh start.
as of yet i have only installed vista64 and not actually done anything with it yet, now im wondering with all the drivers im going to have to install what order? logic tells me that its should go something like:
mobo
gfx
sound
and then what ever else i need...

but i' not sure about one thing which i hope i can get some opinions on...

with regards to the drivers and installing the latest ones, i have an asus p5e mobo and comes with the drvers cd, i have already flashed the bios to the latest version as it worked best before the wipe.

however im wondering should i just use the cd again to install all the other drivers and software such as asus suite and probeII etc... and then update them after everything n the cd in on the pc, or should i just install the latest versions of the drivers and software straight off? (i have downloaded asus suite, probeII, and the Lan drivers)

what ya think? if i dont install everything from the cd and just the ones i have downloaded could i be missing something important?

windows > windows updates > drivers > software & games

Windows ultimately controls everything so having the windows components close to center of the disk makes more sense to me. Then drivers are also important so i put then in after....

Always use the upto date drivers....

Windows, Service Pack offline install if required [reboot], Av+latest definitions offline [reboot], then Network driver, then updates, then other drivers, then other software for me.
