GARGH! i'm having a hard time of it today, nothing will work.

i've jsut installed windows XP home SP2 on an nvidia RAID0 array and it's painfully slow and keeps crashing on me.

any idears what i've done wrong?

the only thing i've done different is to slipstream SP2 into the windows install disk along with the RAID drivers and set it for an unattended install with nlite. could this be the problem?

Yes, its most likely the issue. Install normally though to be sure, and if its fine, check your nLite install.

Did you remove any networking features in the nLite setup?

no, i didnt but i did give it some arbitary networking instructions for the unattended install. and i did remove one or two background services instead of just disabeling them, but only ones i know i dont use anyway.

Trying the hard install now though, it's a propper ball-ache as i have to install service pack one then service pack two ontop of it. :(
