Installed 8GB, only shows 3.2GB!!!?

Heya

I recently got 4x 2GB modules (OCZ DDR3 Reaper series). I have installed them all on the motherboard, installed WinXP and go to dxdiag but it says I only have 3.3GB! Can someone tell me what is going on please? :confused:

Cool I think I'm going to install 64-bit XP but will my softwares and games all work on 64-bit version of Windows XP?

Also, can I 'upgrade' my current version of Windows XP to 64-bit or do I have to format and start over again?

I'm having Windows7 64-bit and XP 32-bit dual-boot. Its working great except the fact that my USB keyboard doesn't work on startup boot menu so I'm stuck with Windows 7 only :S!!
