installed this internal sata card to give me more sata ports, it has raid options like the one ocuk sells, im not using this but on bootup it asks me to config and then says not found before windows loads up, any advice...? i don't want to usb raid but can't see away to disable it in the bios? (AMD award bios)

If you don't want to use the RAID features of the card then just connect the drives and ignore the boot message, it'll work fine.

unless the card has it's own bios screen AND a windows utility to enable / disable the splash, then you're stuck with it

just use sleep mode

it works and windows has no issue with it, the msg comes up pre boot as soon as you turn the pc on, surely i can get rid of it somehow... it requires action each boot up

Do you have an option to disable "Interrupt 19" in your BIOS? It shouldn't disable the card (it may on some boards - if so you'll have to re-enable it), but it should disable the card's BIOS screen showing at startup.

Not all boards have this option, or it may be called something else - but worth a shot.

edit: One other option is to enter the SATA card's BIOS and see if it will allow you to assign single drives to either JBOD or RAID0. This won't prevent the screen appearing, but it may prevent it from waiting for input from you on each boot.

can't seem to get into any bios mode, i get ctrl + s for config or f4 to carry on after a short delay.

can't see "Interrupt 19" or anything that relates to the card as such. its a shuttle with award bios

still not getting anywhere, half the time i can't get in my shuttle bios, it just ignores the fact i pressed del on boot grrrrrrrrrrrr... will keep trying different things...

i just need more sata ports in my pc, i should have purchased a internal sata card without raid (which i thought would be easy to disable)
