On friday i will have all my new components to build my new pc with the exception of my x1950 pro which i will be ordering friday for a saturday delivery. The question im asking is do i build my pc and install windows etc by using my current nvidia card then just install my x1950 pro when it arrives saturday or do i just wait till the saturday to do it all. Im not sure if installing a nvidia card then installing an ATI one will cause problems. Thanks for your help
 
As long as you use driver cleaner to get rid of the old driver you shouldn't have any problems.
 
how much space have you got in your case?
The X1950 PRO is about 10 INCHES long, so unless you KNOW that you have the space, you should measure your case up first.

I was going to buy an X1950 PRO, but unfortunately I do not have the space. I cried for 3 hours :)
