Hey all, my current harddrive is all but dead, after a few days things gradually get slower, and when I reboot I cant access XP anymore, I get a blue screen with white errors for a split second after the Windows XP loading screen, and then it reboots, i've formatted etc, many times and it does exactly the same thing over and over again after a few days, so i'm fairly sure thats the Hard Drive?

Oh and also, i'm thinking of buying this

Hard Drive, will that be ok? since I have a IDE Hard Drive now, oh and also, is it as simple as plugging it all in, then formatting it, then installing the OS on it? or will I need Mobo drivers etc or? as I dont have access to them, but when formatting my current Hard Drive it's all simple, sorry for the simple question, but i've never put a new Hard Drive in before thats all, so I want to be certain before doing it :D, Many Thanks to whoever can help :)

Plug it in by itself and it'll just work. No drivers needed. You might need to set the jumper on the back of the drive to 'Master'.
