Installing a new Samsung 1TB drive

Hi all,

If I'm installing a new 1TB drive with a complete fresh win7 install, should I set the BIOS to AHCI before loading windows? Does it make much of a difference?

I'll be running this as my OS drive and I've got a 250gb Seagate as a backup drive.

AHCI is better than IDE so why not? It isn't just for SSDs.

Yes make sure you have the drivers on cd or USB etc
