Installing a new SSD

I have an intel ssd on the way to put W7 on-fitting to a UD5 motherboard. Does anyone have a decent link or explanation on installing one of these? settings in bios etc etc????
The only thing i will definately do is leave all my other SATA drives disconnected during install.

Set the SATA controller to AHCI in BIOS, Is all you should really do before installing, and even that isn't vitally important.

Plus what you said about leaving all other drives unplugged. Install W7 and all should be fine. Then put other drives in.

If you disconnect all SATA devices how do you install w7 with no SATA DVD drive?
