Installing a RAID controller after XP is installed?!?

I just want to know if it's possible to install a RAID controller card (and 2nd HD for RAID1 striping) after Windows XP has been installed?

I don't want to completely re-install, is there a way i can do this?

But what about the RAID drivers, i thought you would have to re-install xp from scratch then load the drivers on the initial screen of the xp setup? Can this be loaded afterwards?

does anyone know a solution to this? us it possible to upgrade to RAID 0 without having to re-install windows xp?!¬?

Hmm.. still no answer to the original question.

Maybe i should rephrase it:

"Can I add a 2nd drive to my system and enable RAID0, without having to re-install WinXP?"
or

"Is there a way to fully restore all installed applications, settings, profiles and files from one winXP installation to another?"

that would "overwrite" your complete windows installation, disabling the RAID drivers i would have though....

So,

Situation A: Windows XP Installed on a single SATA harddrive

Situation B: Windows XP Installed on 2 new SATA harddrives in RAID0

how can i do the transition, I don't want to re-install windows if possible.

anyone with experience?

Has anyone here ACTUALLY experienced this problem and found a solution? I rather play safe on this....
