Installing A Sata HD On A Sata Controller (IDE Motherboard) Need Help ?

im a real noob on this, i have just installed a sata controller card and a seagate 500gb hard drive for storage as im running out of space on my old 120gb IDE (where the os is installed) its all showing up but how do i format it ?

right click on it and it should allow you to format or create a NTFS partition

done it cheers, there just wasnt a format option ....obv it was the partition option

just click on what you have highlighted and it will do the work, might take a while mind
