going to install a ssd and have it as a boot drive. ive already have a hhd with several files. is it possible to install the ssd+win7, set it as the boot drive. then still use my current hhd without wiping all the files on it?
Yes, it is. It will just be seen as another drive. Best thing to do is unplug your HDD while installing W7 on the SSD, then plug it back in once fully installed.
