Installing an SSD?

I have just bought a new laptop which has Windows 8 installed on it.
Now I want to replace the HDD with an SSD and just install my Windows 7 on it as I do not like 8 at all.

Does anyone know of any issues doing this.

BTW the laptop is an Acer Aspire E1-571

should be straight forward,just take out the hdd put in the ssd,go into the bios if you can and set sata ports to ahci and install win7

SSD

I PUT A SSD Drive in my windows 8 laptop, installed win 7 but could not find any drivers for the laptop!! so went back to win 8.
Hope you more luck than me.
It was a Toshiba laptop

Windows 8 drivers will work. Pretty much everything auto installs drivers in 7 anyway.

If i were t put Windows 8 back on how could this be done as no discs are supplied with the laptop.

clone the hdd to the ssd,it will be exact copy,uou might need a usb to sata adaptor cable
