This question may enrage the 'try searching brigade' but here it is anyway. Ive managed to get hold of a dual core 939 at not silly money. I really don't want to reinstall windows and all my programs because I've done it 4 times this year.
What's the easiest way to do it? unistall cpu drivers then pop it in?

Just install the new CPU and boot your system. I would check that you don't need a BIOS update first though. Only need to do a reinstall if your changing the system board to something with a different chipset.

Dont need to touch any drivers. I swapped out from a Sempron 140 to Phenom II x6 1090T no problem. Didnt even get a driver pop up. It just works :)
