Hey guys,

Ive recently done a complete re-install of my PC and added another hard drive to the setup.

My question is this (complete noob so I do apologise!), do I need to do anything other than plug them in to their sockets?

I feel like I should be doing something else but I havn't got a clue on any of this RAID and SATA and whatever else is plastered all over HDD's/SSD's.

Basically ive got an SSD (128gb) that is doing my windows install and is the main drive for the PC.

I have a 1TB HDD that is handling my steam games and then another 500GB HDD that is doing my music and a couple of other games.

Should I have done anything else to ensure 'proper' installation?

Thanks in advance!

Just plug in new drive and set your ssd/OS as first boot device in your BIOS,or set it to the top of the boot list

seems like you have done everything right, cant go too wrong with installing a HDD\SSD just power cable and sata cable then set it up in windows
