The beauty of the Linux/Unix environment![]()
Cheers. It has to be at the setup screen though. A clone of the hard drive once it has downloaded the Internet Recovery setup files.
If thats what you want you might aswel burn the lion installer to a usb stick or something. It'll clean install in 5 mins. Prob on a par with a clone copy process!!
So is this during booting into the install screen, or when booting into OS X for the very first time and it's asking you to enter in all your information?
So why not just install Lion to the external USB HDD?
All the times I've installed OS X I've always been given an option as to what disk I want to install it to *shrug*
Target Disk Mode. Need a FireWire port on another machine though.
EDIT: Just noticed the MBAs don't have them. Lewl. Guess you're stuffed then. Though to be honest I can't see what you'd be doing to stuff up OS X unless you're doing something monumentally stupid.
To be honest if you want it at the point of setup before you enter your own personal information I guess its not something you want it for regarding yourself.
I personally can't see why using CCC after your first login isn't acceptable. or even the chap above with the terminal commands.
