Installing multiple OS on diff hard drives

ok this ones got me confused

in my rig ive got 3 HDD
master 120GB
secondary 200G
and backup 60GB

ive wiped my third 60gb back up drive ( after backing up ) and was wondering, if i installed Vista on there , therefore having a dual boot set up, and it was not to my liking yet, too buggy, wont run etc could i in theory just boot into XP and do a format on the drive with vista on it and just carry on using XP.

Or would this just totally fupp things up and mean id have to reinstall xp as well?? :confused:

Yeah, that'll be fine..although you'll have to make the changes to remove the Vista boot menu option too.

sorted mi siggy.....how would i remove the vista option from the mbr?

Type msconfig in the run and click the boot tab and remove the Vista line.
