Ahh, I missed the fact the first four were SSD’s and not M.2, my bad.

Either way, you can’t use more than 2 slots on the Hyper card - the system physically can’t see them.

Awesome cable management and username though!

Gorgeous looking build…..shame about the tubing from the aios though. That’s a build just crying out to be custom watercooled, if only for the aesthetics.

using the ROG Hyper M.2 PCI-e Card stole half the lanes from your graphics card, another nvme in there aint going to make any difference.

In a way you're right, but for the wrong reasons. It isn't going to make any difference because the CPU won't be able to see the third drive. The GPU now has 8 lanes, which is fine for current gen stuff, and the Hyper card now has the other 8, but these are split to 4 each for the two NVMe drives already fitted. It physically won't be able to access them as each drive NEEDS 4 dedicated lanes.
