Installing my new 6850 OC

Hi Guys

Received my new 6850 OC today gonna install tomorrow.
Couple of questions though.
Running a 4850 at the mo on old asus drivers, Should I uninstall these and then uninstall card from device manager. Install new card and install 12.1 from AMD.

Secondly should I install the cap drivers also.

I had a few problems earlier installing these. In the end this is what i did.

Went into device manager - Display adapters and right clicked card then uninstall. Then I went to add remove in control panel and removed AMD Catalyst Install Manager.
Then I shut down machine and removed old card.
Inserted new card and then installed 12.1. It asked for a restart. After restart I installed caps.

All done.

Agree - you need to uninstall old drivers and then reinstall or put in the latest drivers - when testing out my purchased 6850 on my moms computer I actually had to do a restore because the computer really didnt like me installing the card without uninstalling the old drivers first ... so do yourself a favor uninstall and then put card in then reinstall drivers ...
