Installing new bios setting

Installing new cpu. bios settings?

I'm upgrading my cpu from an i5 4670 to a i7 4790k do I need to do anything in the bios or will it automatically set?.
I know nothing about using a bios so a bit worried.

What board and how old is it? If it's anything other than a Z97 and running a oldish bios you may need to flash the bios before installing the 4790k so it can be recognised. Is this for gaming? If it is will you be overclocking it? If not then stick with what you have. HT won't give you a boost for gaming.

Bios is already compatible with the cpu I checked. It's a asrock h81m hds with a 1.60 version bios.
