Installing old SSD in new build PC

Hi

I'm going to be starting to build soon and would be grateful for your advice re the best method to tranfser the content of my SSD in my current system to my new build.

The current SSD is a clone of a Windows 7 OEM. I want to do a clean install of the new Windows 7 OEM I will purchase but want to keep everything else.

I would appreciate advice on the best way to do this, I have seen lots of advice on transferring OS and SSDs but can't find specific advice on this.

It's possible that I've asked a completely stupid question or a complex one, either way, I'd appreciate it if somebody could tell me which of those it is

Thanks for the reply, I only have the the one SSD (I have plenty of external HDDs) so I'm trying to figure out the best way - if there is one?

Thanks, that's very helpful. I didn't know whether it would recognise the exisitng OS and just ask for a new key (which I was hoping might be the case). I back up as a matter of course so I appreciate the advice just in case it goes wrong.
