So I have a bit of an issue!

I used the Windows 7 beta copy many moons ago when it was free for all. It was isntalled onto my NX10 via USB - can't quite remember how.

Anyway, only touched my NC10 recently for the first time in 6+ months and naturally the Windows copy doesn't work.

I'm going to either use a legit copy of XP I have here now or go out an buy Windows 7 BUT.......what's the latest with regards to isntalling these via USB memory sticks? Is it allowed or do I need to buy an external DVD drive? :(

There's quite a few guides out there, some are easier to follow than others. I didn't have the patience in the end to go through with it, so I bought an external DVD writer for £30, which has come in more than enough use to justify the price tag.

I've installed windows 7 to my NC10 from a memory stick several times, and it's far easier than going over to the cupboard to get my USB CD drive out. :)

Googling will give you a ton of guides for it. :)
